Every November 11, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Veterans Day is a moment to reflect on their courage, resilience, and sacrifice.
As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) ranked #2 nationwide, Millbrook’s roots are firmly tied to the values of service, dedication, and leadership. Our mission is built around supporting those who have served by connecting exceptional healthcare professionals with facilities that care for our nation’s veterans and communities across the country.
Honoring Our Founder: Andrew “Andy” Doro
This Veterans Day, we proudly honor our founder, Andrew “Andy” Doro, MBA, a U.S. Army veteran who served with distinction as a First Lieutenant.
Andy’s military service was defined by courage, leadership, and selflessness. As a platoon leader, he faced intense combat and risked his own safety to protect and lead his soldiers. He was seriously wounded and spent significant time recovering in an Army hospital, ultimately resulting in a 100 percent service-connected disability — a testament to his resilience and unwavering commitment to his fellow soldiers and his country.
For his bravery and leadership, Andy received numerous decorations, including the Silver Star, Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and Marksmanship Medals.
Andy’s example continues to inspire veterans and civilians alike, leaving a lasting legacy of courage, dedication, and compassion — values that remain at the heart of Millbrook’s mission today.
We honor Andy for his extraordinary service and enduring impact on our nation.
Serving Those Who Served
Through our partnerships with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Indian Health Service (IHS), and other federal healthcare programs, Millbrook is proud to help deliver high-quality care to veteran populations nationwide. From staffing physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers to recruiting allied health professionals and administrative leaders, we play an active role in strengthening the care networks that veterans depend on every day.
Veterans at the Heart of What We Do
Many members of our team and provider network are veterans themselves. Their integrity, discipline, and sense of mission guide our work - inspiring us to approach every placement and client partnership with the same level of excellence and accountability that defines military service.
We also recognize that transitioning from active duty to civilian life can bring challenges. Millbrook is committed to creating meaningful career pathways for veterans, helping them continue their legacy of service through healthcare roles that make a difference.
A Message of Gratitude
To all veterans - on our team, among our partners, and across every community we serve - we thank you. Your service has shaped the freedoms we enjoy and the values we uphold.
This Veterans Day, and every day, Millbrook is proud to stand as a service-disabled veteran-owned company dedicated to serving those who have served us all.
